Visit Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary
Lola ya Bonobo is the only place in the world that you can meet your closest living relatives face to face. Imagine sitting quietly watching the bonobos emerge from the forest, or having young bonobos dance around you. Visiting Lola is a once in a lifetime opportunity that only a handful of people in the world will ever experience, and at the same time, you will contribute to the ongoing conservation of bonobos.
Stay in the villa that the former leader of Congo, Mbutu Sese Seko, used as his weekend retreat. Relax as a personal chef cooks delicious French and Congolese meals . Go to sleep and wake up with the bonobos calling out their greetings.
Visiting costs for Lola ya Bonobo
While we host dozens of overnight international visitors each year, Lola ya Bonobo has extremely limited space. This means we have to be very selective in accepting visitors for this exclusive experience. In addition to covering living expenses listed below, each visitor to Lola ya Bonobo must make a one time, tax deductible donation. This donation helps us run our rehabilitation, release, and education programs. By visiting Lola ya Bonobo, you are helping bonobo conservation.
